Today I would like to present you guys a device that I’ve been using for a few weeks now in my workouts. And this is a pair of wireless headphones of the company called “Aukey”
http://amzn.to/2mINFR1. The company Aukey promises us a very clear and natural sound quality, low weight and battery life of 5-8 hours of using or 96 hours on standby. And the biggest advantage of this headphones is definitely the price, so let’s find out if this is really worth it.
It came pretty fast(in only 2 days), in a compact package. But let’s not put that much attention on the package, and get into it. When you open it, you directly see the headphones.
Under them is are as usual some instructions, USB cable for charging and few rubber earbud ear tips. The medium variant is set already on the headphones, the large and the small one are packed into a plastic bag. For me, the smallest version was the perfect one.
Now let’s have a look at the headphones themselves. What I directly realized is that the cable is pretty long and this is also one of one the disadvantages of them, but we will talk about pros and contras later. The Aukey device has an extra hook, unlike many Bluetooth headphones, so pushing it behind the ears, it makes wearing them while sport activities very secure.
The wireless headphones work with Bluetooth, what makes possible to connect to your phone very easy. It has one of the latest Bluetooth versions(4.1) build in. The connection is very good and it stays connected with your phone up to 15m distance, what is very impressive for the praise, but it also depends on of the phone ability.
The control buttons are placed on the right headphone on the top side. There are totally 3 buttons. The outside buttons can be used to change the volume or changing the song in the playlist. The middle button is for turning the device on/out or for pausing the played song.
To turn on the Aukey headphones you need to press the middle button and hold it for around 6 seconds until you hear the intro melody. The next step is connecting it with your phone. In order to start listening music on your new wireless headphones turn on the Bluetooth also on your phone, find the headphones and connect to them. And now you are ready to go.
As already sad you can change the volume by pressing once the outside buttons. To change the melody you need press and hold one of the outside buttons for around 4 sek.
Overall the Bluetooth feature works very well but sometimes it has some issues and lags, but it happens very very rare and it get’s fixed very quick by itself.
Pros and Cons.
- The first advantage for me is the weight and size of those headphones. You can take it anywhere with you, just put them in your back and you are good to go. The light weight makes it even more comfortable to care with. To be concrete the weight is 22g
- The second positive point of this device is the hook, it is very comfortable to wear them for even a longer period of time. It fits very good in your ear and it is possible to use it while laying. This feature makes the Aukey’s creation perfect for workouts, the most incredible was for me the possibility to train the handstand with them and let me tell you something it never felt out so this was very important for me.
3.And maybe the most important point is the sound quality. Here I was positively surprised. The sound is very clear and very natural. I’ve never heard any noise or hum while using them. It has definitely his disadvantages in comparison to the more expensive versions, but for the praise it is more then good.
- The very first thing is the bluetooth connection, it has sometimes issues and lags. I haven’t figured out what actually the problem is but it makes listening to the music definitely not that great. I’ve been using them for around 3 weeks now and it happened only twice and got fixed in few moments by it self.
In conclusion, I would say that this is a very good device for a small budged, the price of 10.99 € for a wireless headphones and good quality is e very good deaf. You can find it here http://amzn.to/2mINFR1.
